The Astana Sports Club competition entry proposed a dynamic community facility for one of Central Asia's most rapidly evolving cities.
The building section was organised around a clear logic: active and social functions open onto a landscaped public plaza at ground level, while specialist sports facilities occupy the upper floors, each oriented to maximise natural daylight. The facade is resolved as a bold geometric pattern referencing the textile and ornamental traditions of Kazakhstan while achieving a thoroughly contemporary architectural character.
