Contracting is not an add-on to our design work — it is a core part of how Cipher delivers buildings. We act as designer and contractor, maintaining a single point of accountability and protecting design quality through every stage of construction.
In Portugal, all construction is delivered by Hala Cipher, Lda. — our Lisbon-registered company with an IMPIC Alvará (Class 4). Beirut and London studios provide design, coordination and client-facing project leadership; contracting paperwork, insurance and site delivery for Portuguese works sit under the Portuguese entity.
Our site teams manage programme, cost, quality and coordination with specialist subcontractors. We use the same BIM and parametric workflows in delivery as in design, so the information model continues to serve the project after planning approval.
Cipher Architects operates internationally from Beirut, Lisbon and London. All contracting, invoicing and construction licensing in Portugal is through Hala Cipher, Lda., our registered Portuguese company.
